Brunch

I confess that I  used the wrong color on the shadow.. >.< but i dont' know how can I rescue them..haha..it's ok , cause it's the " process" and "experiment". so I still want to post it here. Finally I realized that once u draw the food , must get rid of the blue or other "cold " color..that makes the food looks worse and not delicious. and  I also used too much"masking fluid" , in fact I have no idea how to use masking fluid.this is the first time..personaly I think it's pretty hard to use ,isn't it?

OK .go back to  the brunch, in Taiwan, there are  getting more and more western style breakfast, that's just superb. I love brunch so much. That is just one of the best thing in the world. U sit in the restuatant very relaxing , having  food , a cup of coffie and chatting with friends. That's just WONDERFUL!

Um....  Now it's 11:40 pm here and I wanna BRUNCH now..haha..Alright talk too much..Good night .

  2. I have used masking fluid, and find it works best when you have an area to cover that doesn't include narrow lines or points, so yes it can be finicky to apply. I use it when I want to apply a background color with a large brush to minimize brush strokes. Does mean you have to think ahead that is for sure, since it isn't supposed to be applied to painted surfaces. Also I have found that I don't want to let it sit too long or it can cause problems when I lift it.

Your brunch looks yummy though - nice job

Kathy, thank you for sharing your experience to use the masking fluid, yes.it's can be finickly to apply. it must be careful. I got your point of using it.When I draw the watercolor , leave "the brightest spot"always bother me,
I guess I have to think very carefully ahead even without using the masking fluid
