watercolor#4


I still keep going my watercolor progess, the background has been ruined by my smaller brush back and forth...>"<,  but it's good to learn  through.

  5. Well the detail and color of the foreground are marvelous and I think the background is salvageable. You could continue painting it, maybe use some deeper color and get a deliberately mottled effect, or you could erase it and start anew. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is something I learned about recently and, although I was pretty skeptical, I tried it and it works. It's like a sponge that you dampen and, when you rub it gently across your paper, after a few applications it removes paint down to just a light stain. Get the original, as it has no chemicals that will ruin your paper. Just be careful that you aim it where you want it...cut it into smaller pieces if you need to.
